Obituary of Dorothy E. Good

Dorothy Elizabeth Good, 83, of West Haverstraw, NY died peacefully at home on Thursday, December 4, 2014. Dorothy was born on April 26, 1931 to Theodore and Leona (Klemballa) Salinger in Brooklyn, NY. Dorothy is survived by her loving daughters: Marie Ann, Diane and Nancy. Her Sons-in-Law; Edward Funk, Nicholas Prendergast and Michael Tessora. Her cherished grandchildren: Christine Lewis, Lisa Funk and Cathy Krumanocker; James and Thomas Prendergast; Michael, Brian and Trisha Tessora as well as adopted Grandchildren Wolf Joseph and Janelle Tessora. Her Great Grandchildren William and Ryan Lewis; Cassandra Porter and Dylan and Emily Krumanocker. Dorothy is predeceased by her beloved husband James. Dottie will be deeply missed by her Sister Marie Strouse; her Sister in Law Marlene Cassillo and Brother in Law George Kuhlman as well as innumerable friends from Brooklyn, Queens and Rockland Counties. Dorothy's family will receive friends on Sunday, December 7, 2014 at T.J. McGOWAN SONS FUNERAL HOME, HAVERSTRAW, from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Dorothy on Monday, December 8 at 11:30am at St. Peter's Church, Haverstraw, with interment to follow at Cypress Hills Cemetery, Brooklyn.
