Obituary of Brendan J. Normoyle

Brendan Joseph Normoyle, 53, of Nanuet, died on March 25th, 2015. Born in Brooklyn, NY on March 28th, 1961, he moved to Stony Point, NY in March 1962. Brendan is survived by his parents: Anne and James Normoyle of Stony Point, NY, by his brothers: Seamus of Arizona and Kevin of California, by his sisters: Noreen of New Jersey and Peggy of Pearl River, NY; by his nephews and nieces: Michelle Normoyle-Hardmann of Arizona, Ben and Sarah Normoyle of California, Conor, Cara and Rosaleen Travers of New Jersey, Kaitlin Nicola of Pearl River, and several uncles and aunts. Our special Brendan lived in St. Agatha's Home of the New York Foundling where he was truly loved and cared for over the past twenty five years. He also enjoyed his Day Program at ARC for many, many years. Brendan was truly loved by all who knew him. Brendan's family will receive friends on Friday, March 27 at T.J. McGowan Sons Funeral Home, 71 N. Central Hwy, Garnerville, from 2-4 & 7-9PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Brendan on Saturday, March 28 at 11:15 AM at Immaculate Conception Church in Stony Point. Burial will follow at St. Anthony's Cemetery, Nanuet. In lieu of flowers, friends who wish may donate in Brendan's memory to either: ARC of Rockland, 25 Hemlock Dr, Congers, NY 10920, or to St. Agatha's Home of the New York Foundling, 502 Executive Park, Nanuet, NY 10954.
