Obituary of Lawrence N Vierling

Lawrence N. Vierling, 72 of Blauvelt passed away peacefully with his family by his side on July 27, 2015. He was born on June 10, 1943 in New York City to Lawrence & Catherine (Kelly) Vierling. Larry proudly served his country in the US Army. He married the love of his life Diana Delardi on Nov. 19, 1966 in the Good Sheppard church in Inwood, NY. Larry served on the NYPD for 15 years retiring in 1983. Larry lived for his wife, daughters & especially his grandchildren. He is survived by his loving wife Diana of Blauvelt, his beloved daughters and their husbands Donna & Andrew Kryger of Blauvelt, Dawn & Paul Guarino of West Nyack, his cherished & adored grandchildren Emily, Diana, John, Alison, Caroline, Jack and Matthew, his caring sisters Maureen Stacey, Linda Teubner, Claire Niciti and his numerous cousin, nieces & nephews. The family will receive friends & relatives on Wednesday July 29th from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the TJ McGowan Sons Funeral Home 71 N. Central Highway Garnerville, NY. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated for Larry on Thursday July 30th at 10 AM in St. Anthony's Church in Nanuet with interment to follow in St Anthony's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Larry's memory to St Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105
