Obituary of Raylene MacRae

Raylene MacRae, of Garnerville, passed away on August 28, 2015. She was 68. She was born to Anna Marie Helbig and Edward Jackson "E.J." Barthlow in Suffern in 1947. Raylene worked as a well known psychic consultant, clairvoyant, and medium for over 40 yrs. She was dedicated to serving her community providing spiritual guidance to many. She served as a comfort and counselor to those who sought her advice. She was a dedicated and loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Her grandson was the light of her life. She was a lover and rescuer of animals. She inspired and impacted the lives of many. Raylene was the embodiment of a truly strong, intelligent, and independent woman. She was a teacher of spirituality who lived her teachings each and every day. Her loss will be felt by many. Raylene is survived by her husband Eric; her daughter Dana Ann (Donald Paul) Post of Milford, PA; her brother Harry Richard Crowe of Stony Point; and her beloved grandson Noah James Post. Raylene was predeceased by her husband of 25 yrs, Charles William Van Wart, and her parents. Raylene's family will receive friends on Wed, Sept. 2, from 4-8 PM at the T.J. McGOWAN SONS FUNERAL HOME, GARNERVILLE. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Thurs, Sept 3 at 11 AM, with a private cremation to follow.
