Obituary of Gail Ann McGarry

Gail McGarry, 71, passed away on September 15, 2015. Gail was born and raised in the Inwood section of Manhattan. She lived in Westchester and NJ, before settling in Haverstraw. Gail will be remembered for being a loving and devoted daughter to her ailing mother, as well as a cherished sister, aunt, and friend. She was a devoted Catholic especially devoted to St. Padre Pio and to St. Jude. Gail is survived by her siblings: Thomas J., Donald and June Stephens; and by her beloved nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She also leaves behind the staff of Northern Riverview in Haverstraw, who cared for her like family. Gail was predeceased by her husband Bill, her brother Raymond, and her parents. Gail's family will receive friends on Friday, September 18 from 4-8PM at T.J. McGowan Sons Funeral Home, Garnerville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Gail on Sat., September 19 at 10AM at the Immaculate Conception Church, Stony Point.
