Obituary of Mary K Gaynor

Mary K. Gaynor currently of Stony Point, NY passed away on Sunday November 29, 2015. She was born in County Mayo, Ireland to Mary and Edward Finnegan. From County Mayo she moved to the Bronx, NY where she met her husband of 60 years, John, before settling in Stony Point where they raised seven children and eight grandchildren. She was a loving mother and grandmother with a strong dedication to her Catholic faith and family. While being a devoted wife and mother, she was employed by Haverstraw Transit for many years. She will be greatly missed for her generous spirit and loving, selfless ways. She was predeceased by her brother John, her sister Dell and her husband (Tom) Flatley. She is survived by her husband John, her brother Eamonn (Rosaleen) Finnegan, her seven children: Brendan (Susan Berwick), Maureen (Tom) Wright, James (Maureen) Gaynor, John Gaynor, Gregory (Laura) Gaynor, Eileen (Chris) Mullin, Brian (Kristen) Gaynor and her eight grandchildren: Shannon, Matthew, Nicholas, Kevin, Allison, Linda, Brian, Ryan and many nieces and nephews in County Mayo, Ireland Visitation will be held at TJ McGowan Sons Funeral Home at 71 N Central Highway Garnerville NY 10923 on Wednesday December 2, 2015 From 3pm till 8pm A Funeral Mass will be held at Saint Gregory Barbarigo RC Church at 21 Cinder Road Garnerville, NY 10923 on Thursday December 3rd 2015 at 10am. Following the mass Interment will be at Ascension Cemetery 650 Saddle River Rd, Monsey, NY 10952
