Obituary of Bradford Smith

Bradford P. Smith passed away peacefully on December 10, 2016 in the presence of his loving wife Nancy P. Smith and his daughters Jessica, Alison, and Michelle Smith. Brad was born on July 2, 1955 in Brooklyn, NY to two loving parents, Raymond and Frances Smith. He grew up in Woodside, Queens, and worked as a bus operator for MABSTOA-NYCTA. After countless routes and friendships, Bradford retired. He had a passion for the outdoors as well as sports. He was an avid Yankees and Giants fan. He loved hunting, as well as fishing on the Long Island Sound on his boat, endearingly named "My 3 G's" for his three daughters. Bradford is survived by his cherished mother Frances K. Smith, his loving wife Nancy P. Smith, devoted daughters Jessica, Alison, and Michelle Smith, brother Raymond C. Smith Jr. and his wife Janet, sister-in-law Rose Smith, nieces Toni Ann & Stacey, and his nephew Michael Smith. He is predeceased by his father Raymond C. Smith Sr. and his brother Bruce E. Smith. Funeral arrangements are under the care of the T.J. McGowan Sons Funeral Home, 71 N. Central Highway, Garnerville, NY 10923. The family will be receiving friends and relatives on Friday, December 16, 2016 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. There will be a graveside service on Saturday, December 17 at 10 AM at Gethsemane Cemetery, in Rockland Lake, NY.
