Obituary of Marie J. Lake

Marie J. Lake, 83, of Garnerville passed away suddenly on January 14, 2017. She was born on August 21, 1933 in New York City to Daniel & Anna (Lombardo) Azznara. Marie married the love of her life David Lake on June 18, 1955, he predeceased her on Dec. 9, 2007. Marie worked for Haverstraw Transit Bus Company for 20 plus years. Marie is survived by her loving children Ann Marie Lake of Gilbert AZ., Robert (Donna) Lake of Gilbert, AZ , Dina Lake of Marlboro, NY, her adored & cherished grandchildren Nina DiLorenzo , Jonelle Lake, her caring brother & sister Nat (Jean) Azznara of New City, NY and Thomasina (John) Rocha of Toms River, NJ as well as numerous nieces & nephews. The family will receive friends & relatives on Mon. Jan. 23rd and Tues Jan, 24th from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 PM at the TJ McGowan Sons Funeral Home 71 N. Centrtal Highway Garnerville, NY 10923. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated for Marie on Wednesday Jan. 25th at 10 AM in St Gregory Barbarigo Church in Garnerville with Interment to follow in Mt. Repose Cemetery I Haverstraw
