Obituary of Vincent M. Szymanski

Vincent M. Szymanski, 29, of Stony Point passed away suddenly on January 15, 2017. He was born on November 27, 1987 in New York City to Michael Szymanski & Patricia Schneider. Vinny worked in contracting as a plumber for AJ Home Maintain for a number of years. Before that he worked as a carpenter for the Carpenters Union. Vinny enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his nieces & nephews. He was known as a jokester. He is survived by his mother Patricia Schneider of Stony Point, his father Michael (Lisa) Szymanski of Walden, NY, his brothers & sisters Michael (Elaine) Szymanski of Poughquag, NY, Melissa (Brian) Casey of Stony Point, NY, Jennifer (Jimmy) Duncan of Allendale, NJ, and Nicholas Powell. Also surviving are Vinny's nieces: Stephanie, Emily, Kaitlyn, Kiera and Sawyer, and his nephews Michael and Kieran, many aunts & uncles along with numerous cousins. The family will receive friends & relatives on Thursday Jan 19th from 3 - 8 PM at the TJ McGowan Sons Funeral Home, 71 N. Central Highway, Garnerville, NY 10923. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Vincent on Friday Jan 20th at 11 AM at St. Margaret's Church in Pearl River, NY with interment to follow in St. Anthony's Cemetery in Nanuet.
