Obituary of Angeline S. Mazzucco

Angeline S. Mazzucco, age 94, passed away peacefully on January 15, 2017 at Valley View Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Goshen, NY. She was born November 19, 1922 to Michael and Mariann (Filice) Felice. Angeline attended Haverstraw High School. She married her loving husband George A. Mazzucco on February 4, 1945 and they shared 63 years of marriage until his death on March 21, 2008. They loved to travel and were very active in the Stony Point Senior Citizens Group. Angeline was well-known for her wonderful attitude in spite of her hardships, but was the happiest when she was with her family. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Angeline is survived by her loving daughter Corinne Hassler and her husband Bill of Middletown, NY; her five grandchildren: Brian Parker of Plano, TX, Scott Parker of Lewisville, TX, Eric Hassler and his wife Kathy of Chester, NY, Todd Hassler and his wife Kathy of Honolulu, HI, Sarah Jane Gowans of Stony Point, NY; her three great- grandchildren: William, Sean and Kate Angeline Hassler of Chester NY; her brother-in-law Charles Kwiecinski of Stony Point, NY, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband George; her two daughters: JoAnn Parker and Mary Gowans; her parents Michael and Mariann Felice, and her seven siblings: Clementine Rotella, Anna Ramundo, Frank Felice, Joseph Felice, Catherine Kwieciinski, Genevieve Felice and Mary Moyer. The family would like to thank the staff on Glenmere 2 at Valley View for their wonderful care during Angeline's final days. Angeline's family will receive friends and relatives on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 from 3-8 PM at T.J. McGOWAN SONS FUNERAL HOME, 71 N. Central Hwy, GARNERVILLE, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Angeline on Thursday, January 19, 2017 at 10 AM at St. Gregory Barbarigo Church, Garnerville, with interment to follow at St. Peter's Cemetery, Haverstraw.
