Obituary of John E Denman

John Evan Denman passed away on January 28, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on October 19, 1946 in Dobbs Ferry, NY. He was a graduate of Clarkstown High School and was a small business owner in Rockland for over 30 years. He loved cars, planes, boats, and trips down the Garden State Parkway. He enjoyed attending local sporting events and air shows. A sit down with John left you with a laugh, left you with a story, left you with a friend. He is survived by his sisters Joan, Joyce, and Judy, his five children: Jack and wife Sumetta, Jamie and wife Meridith, Michael and wife Salihah, Tim and wife Jenna, Margaret and husband Brian. He will be dearly missed by his 10 grandchildren: Kaila, Caitlin, Kevin, Daniel, Madelyn, Isabella, Luke, Annie, Jason, and Caralyn. He is reunited in Heaven with his beloved wife, Linda. The family will receive friends and relatives on Tuesday Jan 31st from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 pm at the TJ McGowan Sons Funeral Home 71 N. Central Highway Garnerville, NY 10923. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated for John in the Immaculate Conception Church in Stony Point on Wednesday 10 AM, Interment will follow in St. Antony's Cemetery in Nanuet.
