Obituary of Nicholas Lionetti

Nicholas Lionetti, 90, of Stony Point, NY passed away on May 4, 2017, he was born on Nov. 2, 1926 in the Bronx to Domenico & Caterina (Lasquatro) Lionetti. Nicholas proudly served his country in the US Navy during WWII. He married the love of his life Palma on June 21, 1953 in the Bronx; she predeceased him on Jan. 15, 2013. Nick enjoyed Hunting and fishing, but most of all he loved spending time with his children & grandchildren. He was an avid church going man. Besides his wife & parents Nicholas is also predeceased by his brothers Tony and Joe, his sister Catherine. He is survived by his Loving children Dom & his wife Lori Lionetti of Wallkill, NY, Mary & her husband Greg McGowan of Congers, NY, Julie and her husband Ken Ludwig of Haskell, NJ, his loving, cherished and adored grandchildren Annamarie, Marietta, Nikki, Toni and Nicole, his caring brother Pat and numerous nieces & nephews. The family will receive friends & relatives on Tuesday May9th from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the TJ McGowan Sons Funeral Home 71 N. Central Highway Garnerville, NY, a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Nicholas on Wednesday May 10th at 10 AM in the church of the Immaculate Conception in Stony Point with Entombment to follow in St. Anthony's Cemetery in Nanuet. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Nicholas's memory to St. Jude's Hospital 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105
