Obituary of Elizabeth A Scherer

Elizabeth (Bette) A. Scherer, 76, of New City went to be with the Lord on July 7, 2017. Born in Hollis, NY to John & Janet (Savage) Elliott, Bette attended Cincinnati Bible Seminary. She married Warren in 1962, and they raised their family in Rockland County. Bette was a teacher's aide at Cornerstone Christian School in New City for many years. She leaves behind her loving husband Warren, her beloved children: Beth, David, Mark, Robin (Rob), Janet (Michael), John (Jamie) and Craig (Amanda), grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and sisters. There will be a memorial service for Bette on Friday, July 14, 2017, 10:30 am, at the Church of Christ, 169 Rt. 9W Haverstraw, NY.
