John Walsh

Obituary of John J. Walsh

John J. Walsh, born July 17, 1975, passed away peacefully on March 20, 2022, at the age of 46. John graduated from North Rockland High School and attended Coastal Carolina University and Rockland Community College. John is survived by his parents, John and Eileen Walsh, Thiells, NY, his two brothers, Edmond (Jill) and Thomas (Kari), and his adoring niece, Daly and nephews, Quinn and Edmond.

Golf was John’s passion, along with spending time with his family. Playing a round of golf with family and friends always brought him so much joy. He was also an avid Rangers and Yankees fan.

John never entered a room without a bright smile. He truly was a gem that will be sorely missed. John spent many hours enjoying time with his niece, nephews, and many younger cousins. Whether it was soccer, hockey, baseball, camping, or fishing, John was always there to watch or participate.

John was a Local 40 NYC Ironworker for 19 years. He worked on several buildings and bridges throughout the area. But what he enjoyed most about his job was all the friends he made.

A wake is scheduled for 4:00- 8:00 pm on Monday April 4th at T.J.
