Obituary of Rosemarie Negrini-Valente

Rosemarie Negrini-Valente of Garnerville, NY passed away on February 15, 2022 surrounded by her loving family.  She was 80.  Rosemarie was born on October 28, 1941 to the parents Carmela & Salvatore Negrini in Bronx, NY.  She grew up in the Bronx & attended Evander Child High School.  On May 4, 1963 she married her loving husband Frank Valente.  She was a devoted wife and mother.  Her greatest happiness was spending time with her family & friends.  Although she dealt with many obstacles health wise in her lifetime she always was there to help others. 

Rosemarie is survived by her husband of 58 years, Frank Valente, her daughter Camille Valente-McGuire, her son-in-law Craig McGuire, her son Dominick Valente, her daughter-in-law Kristen Valente, her two granddaughters, Francesa Valente & Sofia Valente. Rosemarie will be sadly missed especially for her wit & humor.  She leaves behind sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and the best of lifelong friends. Our heartfelt thanks goes to her caregivers, Josselin, Rita & Diana. God Bless you for the special people you are!

Visitation will be held on Monday, February 21, from 3-7pm at TJ McGowan Sons Funeral Home in Garnerville, NY. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, February 22, 10am, at St. Peter's Church, Haverstraw, followed by interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, NY. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in her honor to the American Diabetes Association or the American Foundation for the Blind. (AFB)
