Obituary of Carmella Mazzaferro

Carmella Mazzaferro of Stony Point NY, entered into Heaven peacefully and surrounded by her family on Sunday April 25th after a brief illness. She was 86 years old. Carmella was predeceased by her husband Louis Richard Mazzaferro, and was the precious and loving mother of her three children, Richard Mazzaferro of Newburgh NY, Sharon Dapolito of Cornwall NY, and Gary Mazzaferro of Coral Springs FL. She is also survived by her grandson Vincent Dapolito and his wife Brooke of Odessa FL. Carmella was a member of the Stony Point Seniors and also the Bible Study Group of St. Augustine in New City NY. Friends can join her family in paying their respects on Friday April 30th from 4pm to 7pm at McGowan Sons Funeral Home, 71 North Central Highway in Garnerville NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 9:45am on Saturday May 1st at the Church of the Immaculate Conception in Stony Point,

followed by gravesite service at St. Anthony’s Catholic Cemetery in Nanuet NY.
