Obituary of Aidan Wayne Knerr
With deepest sorrow we announce the unexpected passing of Aidan Wayne Knerr, on Wednesday, February 14th, 2024, with his family by his side. Aidan was born on January 16th, 2009 in Suffern, NY. He had just turned 15 years old and was a freshman at North Rockland High School. He was a true boy’s boy; he loved to play sports, ride bikes, quads, and dirt bikes, go ice skating, and play airsoft with his best friends. He also loved spending time with all of his cousins and his 2 half brothers.
Aidan had a huge heart. He will always be remembered for his smile and willingness to go the extra mile for the people he loved. He was always laughing, smiling, being silly. He was adventurous, determined, and kind-spirited. He will forever be missed by all who knew him and his memory will live on in our hearts; a true testament to the profound impact he had on those blessed to know him.
Aidan leaves behind his mom, Jennifer Knerr; his dad, Joseph Weyant; his dog, Teddy; his 2 half brothers, Matthew & Jaxson; his grandparents, Poppy Wayne, Grandma Lynn, Papa Joe, Nana & Pop; his loving Aunts, Uncles, cousins, and many great friends.
We take comfort knowing that Aidan is now with his Grammy in Heaven.
Visitation with the family will be held from 11am-3pm on Sunday, February 25th at TJ McGowans Funeral Home, 71 North Central Highway, Garnerville, NY. A prayer service to follow at 3pm, Rev. Warren Brandt.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Aidan may be made to Maria Ferari Children’s Hospital.
