Obituary of Rosemarie Ann Roman

Rosemarie Roman (nee Mercado), born April 17, 1954, passed away peacefully on August 2, 2023 with her loving family by her side. Rosemarie was the devoted mother of Eric Joseph Roman and Michael Anthony Roman, grandmother to beloved granddaughter Ava Roman and soon-to-be expected baby girl, Mila Kehlani Roman, and mother Quelcia Olea, partner of Michael Anthony. Rosemarie was a fiercely independent woman who raised two sons while working as a dedicated and loyal employee at D&G Electric in Garnerville, NY. She is survived by her sister Laura Ahlert and her brothers, Philip and Genardo Mercado (Pennie). Rosemarie's memory will also be cherished dearly by her many loving nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. She will be missed dearly and remembered fondly by all family and friends who knew and loved her. 

Visiting will be held on Tuesday, August 8th, from 2-4pm & 7-9pm at TJ McGowan Sons Funeral Home in Haverstraw, NY. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, August 9th, 10am at St. Peter's Church followed by interment at St. Peter's Cemetery, Haverstraw, NY.
