Obituary of Julia M. Garrison

Julia M. Garrison nee Picarello a lifetime resident of Haverstraw died Wednesday April 24, 2013 with her family by her side. Julia was born May 1, 1936 in Haverstraw to the late John and Philomena (Felice) Picarello. She attended St. Peter's Grammar School and graduated from Haverstraw High School "Class of 1954". Julia worked for The County of Rockland at the R.L. Yeager Health Complex. Julia's family was her life and she especially enjoyed the Christmas season; her Christmas displays were not to be missed. Julia was also an avid Yankee fan with an amazing Yankee room in her home. She is survived by her children JeanMarie, Bill and Stacey, John and Joanne, Richard, and Kathleen Garrison and Patricia and Stephen Wargo. Her grandchildren Christina and Kevin, Billy, Mitch, Angela, Richard, Samantha, Ashley, Stephen, Christian, Caitlin, Devyn, Hannah, Casey, Jade, John, and her great grandchildren Tristan, Alexa, Jordan, Jaden. She is also survived by her brothers Joe "Sonny" and Ann Picarello, Ralph and Joan Picarello and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Julia is pre deceased by her husband William in 1978 and her grandson Anthony in 2005
