Obituary of Paul F. Farina

Paul F. Farina, age 67, dedicated husband of 45 years to Noreen, loving father and cherished Pop, passed away suddenly on August 10, 2022. Paul owned and operated Bryn Mawr TV of Rockland, a local TV repair business for 42 years. He took great pride in the business he built and was passionate about delivering quality service to all of his customers throughout the years. He also had fond memories of his childhood working at his family’s business, Dairy Queen in Stony Point, NY.  He married his high school sweetheart and love of his life, Noreen, on April 24, 1977 and had three beautiful daughters. Paul found great joy in spending time with his family, taking care of his meticulous property, and drinking his favorite wine. His daughters remember their father as a “can fix anything” type of dad, never too late for a movie night, happy to grill on a moments notice, always ready with a great wine suggestion, and had a “stop and smell the roses” mentality. He lived his life with a smile on his face and so much love in his heart. Paul is predeceased by his parents, Frank and Thelma (Carlevaro) Farina, as well as his brother Douglas Farina. He is survived by his beloved and devoted wife, Noreen (Flora) Farina, daughter Michele Hull and husband Jeremiah, daughter Christie Anderson and husband Eric, daughter Roxie Salemo and husband Kevin, and four adoring grandchildren, Jacob, Michael, Mia and Sophie. Paul is also survived by his dear Uncle Edward Carlevaro, as well as many loving cousins and friends. Family will receive friends on Thursday August 18, 2022 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at TJ McGowan Sons Funeral Home, Garnerville, NY. The mass will be held on Friday, August 19, 2022, 11am at Immaculate Conception Church, Stony Point, NY.
