I came to know Roy through Bill, and all the Pedersens. The Pedersens were an amazing Family and they all enriched my life by knowing them. Roy was like a "Big Daddy" to all and his hugs were infectious. He truly was a grand man! My heart goes out to all the Pedersens during this very difficult time. My grief is shared with everyone who knew Roy.
Betty, my love will always remain with you and Roy!! May the grace of God give you all the comfort and peace you need. My heart is with you all!!
Gods blessings,
Lynette Cox

I remember when I was about 15 years old, and flew down to Florida to hang out with my Grandma (Margaret McQuade nee Kiely), I was greeted at the airport by a smiling, rambunctious couple who I did not know well at the time… Aunt Betty and Uncle Roy. My grandmother didn't drive, so they made the trek to the airport to get me, and it was a hilarious car ride back down to Fort Lauderdale. All week I got to be part of this group of fun-loving, witty people. Many decades have passed, but that still remains such a warm memory. All the best to Aunt Betty, your kids and grandkids, and everyone else who loved Uncle Roy.

Sending our prayers and condolences. I am so thankful that you guys took the time to come give a Presentation on Perpetual Adoration, and as Fr. said, now we have help from above with our project! He is an inspiration to me as a Coordinator, especially making 24/7 happen without technology! Thanks again! Rest in Peace Roy! God bless you, Betty!
