Obituary of Jacqueline A. Spissinger

Jacqueline (Jackie) Spissinger, 54, of Stony Point, NY passed away from a brief illness on November 3, 2020. She was born on October 19, 1966 in Garnerville, NY to the late Eugene Spissinger and Theresa (Rosinsky) Spissinger. Jackie loved gardening, “pun”kins, traveling, trips to the beach, pool days at Club Peluso, the NY Mets and the NY Giants. She is survived by her cousins John Spissinger of Plattsburgh, NY and Susan Spissinger of Deerfield Beach, FL. She also leaves behind her “sisters” Lori (John) Peluso, Jodi Marinacci and Boni Gizzi (Marinacci). She was adored by her nieces Danielle (Simon) Perrone, Nicole (Brian) Shemesh, Kelsey Peluso, Jeanie Peluso, Kalee Gutierrez, Gia Gutierrez and her nephew, Thomas Giuliano. Her greatest joy came from being Godmother to Angela (la la) Gizzi. She is predeceased by her “sister” Keri Marinacci and her “Pop”, John Marinacci. Our lives will never be the same without “Jacoon”, we are truly devastated. She will forever be in our hearts. Visiting will be held today, Friday, November 6th, from 4-8pm at TJ McGowan Sons Funeral Home, 71 N. Central Highway, Garnerville, NY. Masks required and rotation is in effect. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, 10am, at St. Peter’s Church, Haverstraw, NY followed by interment at St. Peter's Cemetery.
