A true angel received his wings! Uncle Eddie was the kindest most gentlest soul. He touched and left a memory to all who were lucky to meet him. His greatest love was his family...always there when needed with kind words of wisdom, a gentle hug and a heart of hold. There are way to many fond memories to share about Uncle Eddie, but I will hold them all near and dear to my heart. He will be truly missed. To the Laiso Family...I’m so proud to call you my family....love you all! Caroline and Jack

My treasured memories of Uncle Eddie are the times he brought home animals he'd find on the job. Once there was a giant snapping turtle, which I understand later was made into turtle soup. It was the best having the Laiso's living next door for all of my growing up years and all the yard parties the Young's and Laiso's had. Uncle Ed would come over just about everyday and sit in the kitchen and visit until dinner was on the table and then he'd pretend to stay for dinner and then leave to go home. He had a wonderful sense of humor and was always Happy, which I believe is how he got the nickname "Hap". We will miss your smile and jokes and the way you would pretend to trip when carrying something important! Enjoy a Manhattan with Dad up there in heaven; You will be deeply missed and we are blessed to have had you in our lives. Love Always, Kathleen & Jim
