Obituary of Juan A. Estrella

Juan Antonio Estrella, age 69, passed away March 24, 2020 at Good Samaritan Hospital.  Juan was born on July 2 1950 to Maria Del Carmen Estrella and Evanjelito Abreu.  He had six brothers, Juan, Apolinar, Feneli, Ramon, Amado, and Jerman.  He also had three sisters, Mercedes, Angela, and Altagracia.  Juan worked in production at a company that produced many airplane parts and solutions for many years.  He also managed and oversaw many of his own rental properties.

He married Maria Estrella in 1978 in the Dominican Republic.  They moved to Haverstraw New York in 1979 and happily had three children, Ariel, Esmeira, and Michael.  

Juan was a great father, not only to his own children.  His pride and joy were his children and his grandchildren, and he enjoyed their company every second he could.    He was a forward thinker, a business man, and a giver in many ways.  Hard work, discipline, and helping others were very important to him.  He will be remembered for his loveable sense of humor, his love for music and dancing, and his unmatchable work ethic.  He loved learning new things, loved being prepared, and loved being informed.  He enjoyed looking sharp and flexing shirt and tie combinations.  He was  the type of man that would ask every single person around him if they had eaten before he took a single bite himself.  He was a man of principles and faith.  He said the day the Lord needed him, he'd be ready.  

Juan will be loved and remembered always.  His friends and family are full of gratitude and respect for all he has done for his community, and across the world.  

May he rest in peace and may the Lord be with him always.
