Obituary of Dorothy R Squillante

Dorothy R. Squillante, of Stony Point, NY, passed away on January 20, 2020.  She was born to Rocco & Pasqua Mecurio Squillante on March 6, 1932 in Bari, Italy.  Dorothy fulfilled her life by caring, nurturing and supporting her family.  Dorothy was the beloved mother to her children Diane (Raymond) Ohe of Slate Hill, Joseph (Amy) Squillante of Stony Point, and Alexandria (Michael) Figueroa of Sparrow Bush.  The loving grandmother to her four grandchildren Gina, Brandly, Raymond & John and her five greatgrandchildren Shayla, Trysta, Jayce, Brayden and Joseph.  Dorothy was predeceased by her siblings Jean, Rocco & Agnes Rose.  She is survived by her siblings Catherine & Marion.  Dorothy loved her many nieces and nephews dearly.  Dorothy was the love & light of her family.  She saw life so beautifully & gave joy to everyone.  Dorothy will be deeply missed by all.

The family will receive friends & family on Thursday Jan. 23rd, from 4 - 8 PM at the TJ McGowan Sons Funeral Home.  A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated for Dorothy on Friday Jan. 24th, at 10 AM in St. Peters Church Haverstraw, NY with burial to follow in St. Peters Cemetery, Haverstraw.
