Obituary of Richard E Bryant

Richard E. Bryant, 73, of Garnerville, NY passed away peacefully with his family by his side. He was born on March 18, 1946 to Amos E. & Ann Marie (Petrichieo) Bryant in Nyack, NY. Rich proudly served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam War.  Rich married the love of his life Anna Nigro on March 24, 1968 in St Peters Church in Haverstraw. He worked as an electrician for Letchworth Village for many years retiring in 2003.  He was a past member of the Haverstraw Elks and the Kearsing Edwards American Legion Post 1600 in Pomona. Rich enjoyed fishing & hunting. He is predeceased by his parents and  brother Charles  Bryant & sister Darlene  Ouderkirk Rich is survived by his loving wife Anna of Garnerville, his sister Andrea Gawrych  and his beloved daughters Cheryl and her husband Chris Mileski, Stacy Bryant-Babcock, Corrina and her husband Richard Barry, his adored & cherished grandchildren Justin, Marissa and Andrew Mileski, Hailey and RJ Babcock, Dylan, Deryk, and Deanna Barry and numerous nieces and nephews. 

The family will receive friends & family for a Memorial Visitation at the TJ McGowan Sons Funeral Home 71 N. Central Highway Garnerville, NY 10923 on Tuesday Sept. 10th from 3 – 7 PM. A Prayer service will be held at 6 PM with Military Honors to follow.  In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Richards memory to the Hi-Tor Animal Shelter, 65 Fireman’s Memorial Drive Pomona, NY 10970
