Obituary of Robert C. Hobbs

Robert C. Hobbs, 36, of Haverstraw passed away suddenly on May 20, 2019. He was born on September 11, 1982 in Suffern, NY to Robert F. Hobbs and Kathy Watson.  Robert worked in construction for many years and was in the process of starting up his own business. He was an avid sports fan who loved the NY Jets and Yankees.  He loved the outdoors and enjoyed boating/jet skiing and cars.   He enjoyed life to the fullest.  Anyone who knew Bobby will miss his dynamic smile and fun, loving, caring ways.  He was a kind, generous person who would give you the shirt off his back.  We will miss the stories of his life and his practical jokes, always making people laugh.  But what meant the most to Bobby in life was how proud he was to be a father.  He stated that he was blessed with the greatest gift of life, “a beautiful son, Bryce” who he loved so dearly. Bobby is survived by his loving son Bryce of Haverstraw and his Fiance’, Leigh Pupps of Haverstraw, his beloved Mother, Kathy Watson of Haverstraw and his Father, Robert Hobbs of Garnerville, his Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.  He is predeceased by his Fraternal Grandparents, Flora & Scott Watson, his Paternal Grandparents, Marge & Robert Hobbs and his Uncle, Scott Watson.  Bobby will be missed dearly by all and his memory will live on forever in our hearts.  He will always be the wind beneath our wings.  We love you forever, till we meet again.  
The family will receive friends and relatives on Thursday, May 23rd From 7-9 PM and Friday, May 24th from 4 -8 PM at the TJ McGowan Sons Funeral Home 71 N. Central Highway Garnerville, NY, A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated for Robert on Saturday, May 25th at 10:30 AM in St. Gregory Barbarigo Church in Garnerville with interment to follow in Mt. Repose Cemetery in Haverstraw.
