Dear Tara,
So sorry to hear the sad news about your dad’s passing; I know how difficult this
must be for you and your family; he must have been a terrific person because he
raised a lovely, caring daughter,
Thinking of you and family,
Love;
Carol Olorir
I'm sorry to hear Artie, as I knew him 60 + years ago, has passed away. He was my cousin on his mother's side but as life would have it, his family moved to New York and mine to Arizona. It sounds as though he had a full life with a big family. One if the things I will remember about Artie is that I was older and would babysit the little kids in Grandpa Hubbard's 2nd floor of his house and he would bite me...At the time it was not a fond memory but now it's a fond memory I will always have of my little cousin Artie:) I'm sorry for the loss his family mustl have. With love....
Cousin Barbara from Arizona
Artie and I go back to our meeting in 1976. He was playing drums in his brother's band at O'Lunney's Bar in New York City. I was a waitress there at the time. I later dated and married his brother. We instantly became friends. He had a passion for life that you don't often see in others. He would tell me of his plans for his wife and children and that he wanted to make the best life ever for them. He was kind of tough on the outside, but on the inside was a heart of gold. Thankfully, I got to talk to him while he was in the hospital. I cherish the many times we got together, shared meals with his parents and talked about life. I will never forget his kindness.
