Obituary of James L Davis

James "Jim" L. Davis of Stony Point, NY passed away on June 26, 2018 with his family and friends by his side.

He was born on August 2, 1945 in Monsey, NY to the late Marshall and Jeannette Davis. He was a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps and served in Vietnam where he was the recipient of two Purple Hearts. Jim and his brother Skip were the builders of many custom luxury homes throughout the country.

Jim is survived by his loving wife, Deirdre (Kearsey) and his children Stacey (Mike) Vigiletti, Duane (Julie) Davis, and his cherished grandsons Cole and Dalton. He is also survived by his brother Skip and sisters Sandy Pfingst (Barry) and Mabel May (Frank).

Visitation will be held at T.J. McGowan Sons Funeral Home, 71 N. Central HIghway, Garnerville, NY 10923 on Thursday, June 28, 2018 from 4-9pm. A prayer service will take place at the funeral home on Friday, June 29 at 10AM, with interment to follow at Loescher Veterans Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jim's memory to the Rockland County Marine Corp. League, 20 Station Rd., Pomona NY 10970.
