Obituary of Thomas S Randles
Thomas S. Randles, 83, of Stony Point passed away on Thursday June 7, 2018. He was born on April 21, 1935 in Harlem NY to Thomas Randles and Eileen Hegarty of Ireland. Tom was a proud and retired FDNY firefighter azt Ladder 45 Washington Heights , NY at the “Big House”. He also was a retired school bus driver for Haverstraw Transit. Thomas served his country proudly in the Korean War and received the Purple Heart for his honorary service. He was predeceased by the love of his life Adeline Kelly (2000), son Michael , brothers William and Patrick, sisiters Elizabeth, Mary and Eileen. He is survived by his loving children Thomas (Nicolle) of Stony Point, Laurie of Stony Point and Daniel (Debra) of Walden, NY and his adored & cherished grandchildren Ashley, Lindsey, Courtney, Thomas and his sister Marguerite McDonald and brother John Randles along with his numerous loving nieces & nephews.
The family will receive friends & relatives on Mon. June 11th At the TJ McGowan Sons Funeral Home 71 N. Central Highway from 4-8 PM. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Thomas on Tuesday June 12th at 10 AM in St. Gregory Barbarigo Church in Garnerville with interment to follow in St. Anthony’s Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers donations can be made in Thomas’s memory to the FDNY Orphans & Widows Foundation 204 East 23rd Street New York, NY 10010
