Obituary of Joan T Driscoll

Joan T. Driscoll, 87, of Pomona, NY passed away on October 22, 2017. She was born on January 23, 1930 in Jersey City, NJ to James & Catherine (Carmody) Maloney. She married the love of her life John Driscoll on May 18, 2951 in the Church of the Good Sheppard in New York City. Joan worked for the New York Telephone Company for years 30 years. Joan is predeceased by her daughter Donna DeFeo and her four brothers & sister Connie, Dermot, Maurice and Jimmy. She is survived by her loving husband of 66 years John of Pomona, NY, her beloved Children John (Donna) f Smithtown Long Island, Suzanne (Augie) of Putnam Valley, Her adored & cherished grandchildren Robert Anthony Driscoll, Augie Pino Jr, and Richard Driscoll. The family will receive friends & relative on Weds. Oct 25th from 4 - 8 pm at the TJ McGowan Sons Funeral Home 71 N. Central Highway Garnerville, NY. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated for Joan on Thursday Oct. 26th at 10 AM in St Gregory's Church with a private cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Joan's memory to St Jude's Children's hospital, 501 St. Jude Place /Memphis, TN 38105
